Met basmatirijst, mungbonen, kokos, dadels, broccoli en specerijen. Een warme, smakelijke middag- of avondmaaltijd volgens ayurvedische traditie – in korte tijd bereid.
Deze combinatie van basmatirijst, halve mungbonen zonder schil, groente en specerijen, geldt in Ayurveda als de ideale formule voor een lichte, volwaardige en vullende maaltijd.
Bereiding: Een portie (80 g) in ca. 300 ml water kort aan de kook brengen, deksel erop en op laag vuur 20–30 min. zachtjes doorkoken – af en toe omroeren. Naar behoefte de smaak met zout en olie of ghee verfijnen.
Recepttip: Kitchari Gemüse kan met verse groenten, zoals bijv. erwten of bloemkool verrijkt worden. Met mango of ananas geeft u Kitchari Gemüse een fruitige, exotische noot.
