Wat is L-Arginine?
L-Arginine is een aminozuur dat door het lichaam zelf kan worden gemaakt en van nature ook voorkomt in onze voeding. L-Arginine heeft een positieve invloed op deafgiftevan het lichaamseigen groeihormoon, het afvoeren van afvalstoffen en het verbeteren van de weerstand. Bij mannen draagt L-Arginine bij aan een goede kwaliteit van de zaadcellen.
Samen met L-Ornithinewordt L-Arginine gebruikt terondersteuning van het Clark-programma. Beide aminozuren zorgen voor een versnelde afbouw van ammoniak, een bijproduct van de eiwitstofwisseling.In tegenstelling tot L-Ornithine stimuleert L-Arginine de stofwisseling en vergroot dit aminozuur het wakker-zijn.
L-Arginine is eenpre-cursor is van stikstofoxide en kan daarom ook ter ondersteuning van een afslankdieet worden gebruikt. Dit omdat een verhoging van stikstofoxide in het lichaam zorgt voor een snellere stofwisseling (voedselverbranding).
