L-Glutathion wordt wel beschouwd als een van de krachtigste, veelzijdigste en belangrijkste anti-oxidanten die het lichaam zelf kan aanmaken. L-Glutathion wordt in de lever gevormd uit de aminozuren cysteïne, glutaminezuur en glycine. L-Glutathion wordt in vrijwel alle lichaamscellen aangetroffen, maar naarmate wij ouder worden neemt de hoeveelheid L-Glutathion in ons lichaam af.
L-Glutathion beschermt tegen vrije radicalen en ondersteunt het lichaam tegen de gevolgen van roken, straling en alcoholgebruik. L-Glutathion reinigt het lichaam van zware metalen en is ook van belang voor een goede hersenfunctie.
Belangrjk om te weten: L-Glutathion is dan wel een belangrijke anti-oxidant en vrije radicalenvanger, maar alleen L-Glutathion in de zogenaamde 'gereduceerde' vorm is werkzaam. De ongreduceerde vorm is weliswaar goedkoper, maar niet actief in de stofwisseling.

Algemene gebruiksaanwijzing: Als aanvulling op de voeding dagelijks 1-2 capsules. Innemen met water of vruchtensap, een half uur voor de maaltijd of bij het naar bed gaan.
