Deze unieke kam is gemaakt uit de houtsoort Azadirachta indica ofwel Neem (zeg: "niem").
Neem is al eeuwen bekend in de Indiase gezondheidsleer Ayurveda om zijn positieve werking op huid en haar. De stof Nimbidine in het hout heeft een antiseptisch, desinfecterend, verkoelend en voedend effect.
De Neemhouten kam masseert de hoofdhuid bij het kammen, zodat de doorbloeding toeneemt en klachten als jeuk afnemen. De Neemhouten kam bevordert zachte en soepele hoofdhuid en haren.
Neemhout versus kunststof
Een houten kam is in tegenstelling tot een kunststof kam niet statisch geladen, wat het breken van het haar vermindert. Een goede houten kam helpt bij het ontwarren van alle haren zonder daarbij de haren te beschadigen of statisch op te laden.
Onderhoud
Schoonmaken met water en vloeibare zeep. Droog de kam meteen goed af, want door vocht kunnen de actieve ingrediënten (en dus de effectiviteit) afnemen.

De Neemhouten kam is een ambachtelijk natuurproduct. Kleine afwijkingen van de standaardvorm zijn dan ook normaal.
